Larvikite

Unlike traditional marble (calcareous, with a hardness of 3-4), Larvikite is commercially classified as a ‘hard’ stone. It is faneritic, coarse-grained, bluish-grey in colour, and known for its characteristic bluish/silvery sheen (labradorisation) due to the structure of its feldspars.
